My artwork has repeatedly themes where in people and flowers play a main-role. In my work its all about the senses; feeling- the touch-sense, seeing, -observing and viewing, tasting, -the taste, smelling the cense, and hearing –poetry, spoken words. My work reproduces familiar visual signs, arranging them into new conceptually layered pieces.
Observation and imagination are being woven through each other in the series “Seed of…” Oftentimes these themes are combined into collages that feature mundane domestic objects painted diverse, juxtaposed with whimsical objects, and often embellished with stenciled text or newspaper, I draw am a photographer and make still 8mm movies. By using different colors to access a dream-like surreal quality, suggesting notions of calmness and safety, or anxiety and fear that formally unify the disparate objects in my work.
The pictures and texts provide clues to content and interpretation. Traveling means a lot to me for looking on different ways of behavior within culture and its society. The subject matter of each work determines the materials and the form of the work.
Poetry in Spoken –Words on stage with live musician and Spoken Words in the movie. Rational and expressive impressions are evolving out into a precise detail. While I use a variety of materials and processes in each project my methodology is consistent.
My paintings and other two-dimensional work are poetic while my Spoken Words-Poetry is picturesque. Each project often consists of multiple works, often in a range of different media, grouped around specific themes and meanings.
